The Silence

Fabric die and printing ink on cotton, 2024

36 x 54

An ode to my grandfather, this piece reflects themes of silence and comfort. I dyed a white cotton canvas and used various printing techniques to develop the layered composition. The monochromatic blues provoke calmness while the halftone print exposes a painful truth about Alzheimer-ridden patients.
